Every year I communicate with a variety of students who are feeling a nudge, an urge, a call to do more. I fully understand that the call to pursue further education is a call to prepare. It is a call to prepare and to equip ourselves with the tools necessary to do the work of ministry, community engagement, and leadership in this present age. There are many factors that keep us from seminary; concerns about finances, concerns about family, concerns about timing, and about our calls to this work. Whichever concerns you are facing now, please know that we have shared in the experience of wrestling with the worries that accompany the decision to, in the words of Mathew’s Gospel, “leave your nets.”
Explore Eden gives you an opportunity to take a deeper look into opportunities to prepare for your future.
Every generation of Christians face challenges that are unique to their time. Whether you are preparing to launch a new career or enhance your skills and ability to lead, finding the perfect place to learn is an important step in your life’s journey.
There is no better way to find out if Eden is right for you, than to walk in the shoes of an Eden student as you Explore Eden.

Here’s what some of the attendees have said about their time visiting with Eden:
“It was a true window into life at Eden. The hospitality was outstanding, and the whole weekend was a positive experience… I had the opportunity to see the campus and meet the people in ways that would not have been possible in a shorter visit.”
“Eden people really cared and listened. The kindness shown was overwhelming.”
“We could tell that the teachers love to teach and love the students.”
“I felt love around every corner.”
“…[The] Eden event was incredibly influential in my decision to attend Eden because I was given the opportunity to be immersed in the day-to-day experience of a seminarian. Through attending classes and chapel services, I found that Eden creates a space that welcomes all voices to contribute to conversations of theology and social justice.”
