Technology Campaign

Eden Seminary moved completely on-line temporarily for safety in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic.  What had been a conversation previously about providing Eden’s educational experience online became necessity. This educational experience is multi-textured with courses, chapel, community life, and contextual education for students in degree programs.  Eden also serves congregations and community networks, alumni and participants, in non-degree programming and certificate courses.  Eden is planning to emerge in a “blended” digital/in-person format beginning in the fall of 2021. The technology needed to do a “blended” campus well and to provide teaching and learning space for leaders, congregations and movements is the purpose of this campaign.  Technology in the following areas of campus life are included:  Eden’s Wehrli Chapel for sound, lighting, and streaming capacities.  Eden’s classrooms for interactive and user-friendly capacities.  Eden’s new studio or lab with capacities for creation and teaching of video editing and production, graphics, podcasts, and more.
