About our speaker:
Rev. Dr. Terrell Carter
Dr. Carter is the Executive Director of Rise Community Development. Rise is a nonprofit developer, development consultant, and provides capacity-building technical assistance and training to other nonprofit community development organizations (CDCs), government agencies, and institutions in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Rise also plays a leadership role in community development policy and affordable housing advocacy locally and throughout Missouri and Illinois.
The forum is from 7:30 – 9:00. During The first half hour, people gather to share food and meet one another. At 8:00, the speaker presents for 25 +/- minutes and then responds during a 15-minute Q&A session. At 8:45, we break for a time to greet the speaker and one another. The forum is over by 9:00 am.
